Authorities in Harris County are investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of one person following a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle in the western part of the county.
The incident occurred early Monday morning at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Mason Road and Katy Briar Lane, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene after reports of a serious crash involving the two vehicles.
When deputies arrived, they confirmed that one individual had died as a result of the collision. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of family members.
Aerial footage from SkyEye showed significant damage at the scene, including a heavily damaged motorcycle, while the intersection was temporarily shut down as investigators worked to document evidence and assess what led to the crash.
