Family members, friends, and the Greenwich community are mourning the tragic loss of Britany A. Bikauskas, 38, who was killed early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Ashland County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on June 21, 2026, at approximately 12:07 a.m. near the intersection of State Route 545 and Township Road 856 in Clear Creek Township.
Authorities reported that Bikauskas was driving a 2009 white Buick LaCrosse southbound on State Route 545 when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. She then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to veer off the left side of the road and overturn.
Investigators stated that Bikauskas was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency crews responded quickly, but she succumbed to her injuries before further medical assistance could be provided.
Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Fire Division, Savannah Volunteer Fire Company, and 3 Sons Towing & Recovery.
Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash, including roadway conditions and any contributing factors, as the investigation remains ongoing.
Her sudden passing has left the Greenwich community grieving, as loved ones begin to process the heartbreaking loss and remember the life she lived.
